You cannot stop to take a piss at a motorway services these days without having an advert disturb you midflow and try and convince you that you are a worthless snivelling shit unless you have a personalised number plate.
Why anyone would need one is beyond me.
It’s like having a badge that says, “I have more money than I know what to do with”, or, as is more likely, “I’m pretending I have more money than I know what to do with.” I honestly don’t know which is worse.
The most amusing one I’ve seen so far was a couple of weeks ago on the M40. The actual number plate was P14 YAX, but it was made to look like PLAYA X. The best part is that it was attached to a Citroen Saxo. Nothing wrong with a Saxo, just not really what you’d expect from a ‘player’.
Of course, some people do it in reverse, like occassional commenter on here AFC 30K who went to the trouble of changing his name to match his old car.
If you were going to have your own number plate, what would it be. It has to have at least one number in it of course.
I’ll get the ball rolling with P155 0FF.
