If a Panda walked up and asked me to sign its sponsorship form for running the marathon I can honestly say I’d sign and be generous.

I think that a sky-diving Panda would fit the bill. As long as it doesn’t crap over the landing zone on the way down.

Given that the panda is one of the world’s most endangered species, I reckon most ’sponsor a panda’ funding is being used to incentivise them to mate.

I think TV is missing a trick given the potential for a reality TV show called ‘Pimp My Panda’. That way people can see how their money is spent rather than doing crappy sponsorship and not seeing a return. For example, ’sponsoring a star’ and giving the certificate to a loved one as a birthday gift so if you are miles apart you can lovingly look up and see your star amongst 5 billion others. Not to mention the UKs track record for having cloudless skies.

Sorry I digress and no, no-one has ever bought me a star!

I ran a marathon. I bet your panda would look more natural doing it in the horse suit than I did in my expensive marathon kit.
