Commuting is the bane of many peoples lives. Personally, I don’t mind it. This is mainly as I only have to do it once or twice a week at most. The rest of the time I’m no more than a 15 minute drive from the office.
Today I headed into London so I had to get the train, and in order to do that I had to queue with everyone else to get my ticket. This created problem number one: The ticket machine wouldn’t take my notes, or cards, so I had to queue at the ticket office. Problem number two: Only two of the three ticket booths was open, ensuring that the queue was rather long for that time of the morning. I was about fifteenth in line and had twelve minutes till my train departs. My morning continued thus. (more…)
