I was walking to the shop yesterday when I heard what I guess can best be described as a ‘distant thunder’. I look up and see a sunny sky above me. Perhaps this is one of those strange weather anomalies we’ve been told to expect as part of global warming? Cloudless thunder? I don’t remember hearing about that on Newsnight.

But there is goes again, a deep, rolling-thunder type noise, but it’s coming from behind me now.

I turn round to see what can only be described as a slightly oversized shopping trolley, wrapped in luminescent fibreglass. It might actually just be really big rollerskate now I think about it. It was in Ferrari Rosso Red. And had blacked out windows. (more…)
