Living in the UK I’ve not seen the cartoon which has sent the Muslim world into a bit of a tizz. As I understand it, it’s not what the cartoon is depicting, or trying to say, so much as it contains a representation of the prophet Mohammed – which again I understand to be against Muslim laws?
So, a this pans out, a cartoon was drawn and published. An apology made. End of story – you’d think wouldn’t you. But no, these crazy fanaticals have protested on the streets, people have lost jobs papers in the middle east are in outrage and “religious” leaders are saying it wouldn’t be a shame if someone bombed Denmark. You have got to be kidding me?
I’m all for tolerance, and a bit of give and take with different cultural beliefs, but when the Muslim community go off on one about a CARTOON, which has subsequently been apologised for, and the threat of violence ensues, then why do they wonder why the world thinks they’re a bunch of crazy assed murdering psycho’s?
